Uploading CSV/Excel files

Before you get started

Import files can be created in either .xlsx or .csv format. CSV files must be saved using UTF8 encoding, otherwise the file will appear to be empty when viewing the pre-upload validation table.
Important notes before uploading your CSV file:
  1. please make sure that you have a SKU column on the file that contains unique product identifiers (SKUs)
  2. the first row of the file must contain the column headers that are recognised by Ad-Lister
  3. before uploading your file, please check if the columns are formatted correctly and do not contain any broken characters/values
  4. if the file is larger than 5MB or has more than 4000 rows, a background process will be started that will upload the file

These templates contain a couple of example columns that you can use to upload inventory data into Ad-Lister.

Column header examples:

Title
SKU - unique Stock Keeping Unit number
Starting price - Starting price for auctions(decimal)
Reserve price - Reserve price for auctions(decimal)
BIN price - Buy it now price(decimal)
Description

Store Category Name - Primary store category name
Store Category - Primary store category number (A list of your store categories can be downloaded from here
Store Category 2 Name - Second store category name
Store Category 2 - Second store category number
Similar products - List of keywords for similar products or SKUs

Image2 - Image 2 URL

Inventory field 1 - Additional inventory descriptions

Web price - general linked website prices
Amazon price - the price used for Amazon listings
Magento price - the price used for your listings on Magento
etc.

eBay Category Id - the specific eBay category ID (downloaded the category IDs from here)
eBay Category2 Id

Subtitle - Product Sub Title (eBay charge for this additional title)

QTY - product stock level

Condition - i.e. New, New with tags, Used ...

Dispatch time - Required field for eBay products (1 business day, 2 business days etc.)

Ref Type- reference type (EAN, UPC or ISBN)
Ref Id- EAN, UPC or ISBN code

Tag - name of tag, assigned tag to imported product
Type - Only used within vehicle compatability files (Valid values : Product, Compatibility)
Compatibility1Name - name of first column for compatibility
Compatibility1Value - first column for compatibility value
Compatibility2Name - name of second column for compatibility
Compatibility2Value - second column for compatibility value

If you have KTypes, you have to add 2 columns, Compatibility1Name = KType and Compatibility1Value = [ktype value]
