Using Multiple eBay accounts with Ad-Lister - Master & Slave module
Update multiple Ad-Lister accounts with the Master & Slave function
When to use Master & Slave?
If you are listing on multiple eBay accounts, then you should consider using the Master & Slave function. Since you can only link 1 eBay account to 1 Ad-Lister account, Master & Slave offers a great way to link multiple your Ad-Lister accounts and update the products from one Master account.
What is Master & Slave?
Master & Slave is a module that allows users to update multiple Ad-Lister accounts using one main Ad-Lister account that has all the updated product information.
How does the Master & Slave module work?
Once you have opened multiple Ad-Lister accounts and the Master & Slave module has been set up, you will have to go into the Slave accounts and set up how you would like the data from the Master account to be transferred over.
You will have to go to Settings --> Slaveaccount and select the Master store
After this step, you can go through the rest of the settings to customise how the data will get pulled over from the Master account.
Here you will have multiple options that you can customise, such as:
Store Categories
eBay Categories
Auction Price
Buy It Now Price
Web Price
Delivery Services
Quantity
Within the dropdowns you will have multiple options:
Do not update the selected information - if you select this, Ad-Lister will not update the selected option when it pulls over the product information from the Master Account.
Copy - if selected, Ad-Lister will copy the selected option over from the Master account.
Replace - if you select this, then Ad-Lister will apply the replacement rule that you have added in the text box when it updates the selected option.
You can also choose to update other options using the information from the Master Account, such as:
Title
Subtitle
Description
Images
Compatibility
Item Specifics
