Listing products with Variations on Etsy

Why are listings with variations different?

Listing products with Variations is a bit different from listing single item listings on Etsy, and here's why: 

- Etsy only accepts certain variables

- Some variable names might differ from what is accepted by eBay or Amazon (Colour - Primary Color, 

- Each Etsy category(Taxonomy) has different variation specific names 

How to map Etsy variables in Ad-Lister?

First, go to the Platforms page by clicking on Platforms in the top menu and then click on Edit

On the Etsy platform details page, select the Etsy category you would like use, once selected, Ad-Lister will load all the possible values that you can use for mapping

You will then have to map the Variation specific name that you have in Ad-Lister ( in the above example it is Colour) to the Etsy equivalent (that is Primary color) and then click Save.

Once the mapping is complete, your product is ready to be posted on to Etsy.

Summary

In order to post variations to Etsy, you have to map the Variation names to the Etsy variations and then simply post the product as you would post a non-variable listing
