How to use Product Types in Ad-Lister

What is a Product Type?

A Product Type is the collection of attributes which act as a template for products of the same type or kind. For example, a clothing store might have the following Product Types: Pants. Shoes.

How to create a Product Type

Go to the top menu hover your mouse over Products and on the dropdown you will see Product Types click on it.
      1. You will need a name for the Product Type ( ex. jackets, helmets, etc...) 
      2. After you add the name, click on Add Product Type




How to set up the Product Type

Within the product type you can add a default:
1. eBay Category or categories 
2. Store Category or categories
3. Similar product keywords used for the Similar Listings
4. Default quantity, condition, VAT% and weight 



5. You can select if you would like to set up the shipping options to used fixed values or by weight
6. Opt-in to use various eBay services
7. Set up Domestic Shipping
8. Set up International Shipping
9. Exclude postage locations
10. Set the Dispatch time
11. Save the Product Type




If you leave any fields blank, Ad-Lister will use the data from the product details.

How to assign Product Type to your products

After Saving the product Type, you can simply go to the Product page, click on Product Actions and select Assign/Unassign Product Type, there you will be able to add the new product Type to your products.
