Amazon will discontinue its Legacy API at the end of July 2022, meaning that users will have to start connecting their Ad-Lister accounts to the Selling Partner API.
What will change if you switch to the Amazon Selling Partner API?
Using the new Selling Partner API, you will be able to import more information from Amazon than ever before, you will be able to get images, item specifics, variations, and more.
The new API will also improve the posting process, allowing users to post products from Ad-Lister to Amazon more quickly (it sometimes takes half the time to post a product to Amazon using the new API compared to the Legacy posting method)
How to Connect Ad-Lister to the new Selling Partner API?
You can connect to the selling partner API in a few simple steps.
1. First, you will have to go to the Platforms page and then click on Edit next to the platform name.
2. Once on the Amazon platform page, click on Get Token, under the Amazon Selling Partner API credentials.
Once you click on the Get Token button, you will be prompted to the connection setup Wizard on Amazon.
