How to add custom variation on Etsy using Ad-Lister

You will need to check 3 simple things before you add variation on Etsy

Make sure that the variation name complies with the variations accepted by Etsy

You can check what variation names are accepted in the Taxonomy node area:

If none of the variations parameters are available then you can have up to 2 Customs Variations names for each Taxonomy(Etsy Category).

How to map a custom variation for Etsy.

Example :

       

       1. Variation name = Rail Length

       2. Map the variation the following way : Rail Length-Custom1

Rail Length is the Variation Name in Ad-Lister and since there is no value for it on Etsy, you will have to use Custom1 in this case

If the product is already on Etsy you will need to delete it from Etsy and post it again from Ad-Lister. This should apply the new Variations

The variation name does not exceed 30 characters

Please note that the variations should not have more than 30 characters in the name. If you have more than 30 characters in the name of the variations, please try reducing them, otherwise you won't be able to post them on Etsy.
